TVI Express, are based in London, UK.
Launched in 2009 there has been much talk of this company and apparently there have been some very significant incomes created, this led me to do some research into TVI. Whilst looking through their website and watching the company presentation, I kept thinking to myself 'What are these guys selling?' Anytime this happens alarm bells go off in my head and I find myself asking 'Is this a Ponzi scheme?'.
After reading the TVI Express review website and doing my own further research the only 'product' that I can relate to this opportunity is a 5/6 night hotel accommodation voucher which you get when you sign up for $250 and the promise of access to 'future holiday & vacation deals'
My biggest issue with this company is that they are not clear on what it is that they are actually selling.
So how do you get paid with TVI Express?
A distributor will make their money from getting others to sign up and pay the $250. TVI has what is called a rotating matrix pay plan. When you get started, you will begin your journey on the Travel Board and will 'cycle' your way up to the top of the matrix at which point you will be 'pushed' out to the next level and be paid $500. Next you move up to the express board and you again 'cycle' your way up to the top of the matrix and then supposedly you will get paid $10,000. $250 will get you into the scheme and you won't have to make any further payments. By recruiting 2 members into the scheme you will earn the right to get your reward payments.
Given that the entry fee is just $250 how can members earn such large amounts from just 2 new recruits? There is a hugh influx of people paying their $250 to get in to the matrix right now, all dreaming that they are going to become wealthy in just a couple of months and for the time that this is going on, there will be a constant shifting of the matrix as people are pushed to the top and pop out with ten thousand bucks. The company says that once you pop out at the top you will re-enter the matrix again and earn another $10k.
All of these matrix type systems have a limited life. As soon as people stop joining (or the company gets shut down) no-one will be able to cycle through the matrix anymore and as there is no actual product everyone will stop being paid. Normally when an MLM company gets to the point of saturation there is still money being made, as distributors are selling an actual product.
Is this a legitimate opportunity?
Well when looking at an Network Marketing company to join I always look at the products and if they provide REAL value to the end user. I also ask the question 'would the product stand up on its own?'. TVI Express fails on both points in my opinion.
Should you sign up?
Anyone looking at the pay plan would be impressed. Don't try and sponsor anyone that you value their friendship though. Beware, I have read in many different places online that payments are not guaranteed to be in cash, but rather in the form of a voucher that will get you a good deal on a holiday or some travel deal.
