To write is to pen the thoughts f the mind, when it comes to creative writing. However, no matter what writing is about putting precious words that need to be read by others, 4 further information or then to simply spend some leisurely hours in further knowledge gaining.

There are numerous freelance writing jobs available at all given times. One needs to surf around and check out with the local publications. In fact, to gain such opportunities one should directly approach publications with their story or article ideas, and if selected they would be paid. There are people who actually put in a couple of hours daily into writing articles, on a freelance basis, & earn far more than any full time job would. But that's for a lucky few. But more than just being lucky, it is important to network to get those assignments.

All one needs to do is meet the editors of the various publications. But, meeting is not everything. One needs to carry a proposal of articles one could contribute that is in keeping with the nature of the publications. In India, there is so much scope for the freelance writers, who can write in English or any other language & be translated into various other languages. Another aspect is the growing number of publications in the country that requires as many writers - full time and freelance.
